Cara and Ashley Take To The Skies In Morocco For Ashley’s 30th Birthday

It was eyes to the skies as Cara Delevigne and Ashley Benson took flight in a hot air balloon. The couple have been in Morocco celebrating Ashley’s 30th, after Cara whisked her away for a surprise trip, sharing a series of romantic snaps with their followers on Instagram.

They packed a lot into their visit, as they motorbiked across the desert, went on a dune buggy ride and took in the local culture. The pair experienced some traditional hand painting by local Bedouin women, and shared magical shots of blue skies and other balloons over the desert landscape, while enjoying a dreamy full breakfast spread.

Model Cara, 27, has been dating Pretty Little Liars star Ashley for a year, after they were first spotted together leaving a Lauryn Hill concert in New York back in May 2018. They met as co-stars while filming punk-rock drama ‘Her Smell’ in 2018 and have since been inseparable.

In the past, Cara has been linked to string of high-profile stars. Her last long-term relationship was with musician St Vincent, Annie Clark, who she dated for a year and a half. More recently she was linked with Paris Jackson, after they were seen kissing and holding hands - although a relationship was never confirmed. She reportedly dated Fast and Furious star Michelle Rodriguez back in 2014, and was also previously linked to Harry Styles.

Cara has spoken openly about coming out as bisexual, but has been famously reluctant to apply labels to her sexuality. 'I hate to label myself,' she has said. ‘I’ve been to so many dinners where people are like, “so, what are you? L, G, B, T, Q?” I’m like, “Guys, really? This is what we’re talking about?” I change every day.’

On holiday, Ashley was clearly won over by her girlfriend’s efforts as she shared her appreciation online: 'Morocco has always been a place I’ve wanted to visit. I faced so many fears and took on new adventures with my best friend by my side. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I love you @caradelevingne. Thank you for making my birthday the best yet.’

It seems that Cara has set the bar high for celebrations, last year reportedly hiring London’s Natural History Museum for Benson’s birthday and posting a photo of a bed surrounded by lavishly decorated trees. This year, she’s shown that she’s prepared to go above and beyond for the woman she loves, delighting fans and giving her a truly unforgettable experience.
