There are just too many things to love on GBBO this year. If we’re not swooning over Selasi, we’re laughing with Mel and Sue or drooling over some cakes that are so pretty we don’t want Paul Hollywood to slice into them with his burly hands. But the real showstopper is Candice Brown and her much revered collection of lipsticks.
Not only does Candice renew our love of a statement lip every Wednesday evening, she’s also dealt with some pretty nasty Twitter trolls with grace and composure. Social media has been flooded with comments about the baker, but because Twitter seems to be the place where mouth-breathers spend all of their time, not all of them were nice. Candice has been publically called out for having a ‘smug face’, ‘trout pout’ and ‘cats bum mouth’. Yes. Really.
But Candice has made us love her even more by responding to tweets in the best way ever:

Candice’s twitter responses were such fire that at least three trolls have since deleted their tweets - and gone back to their Xbox and blow-up girlfriends, we can only assume.
However, one twitter user actually apologised for insulting her:
Keep on killing them with kindness, Candice.
