There’s nothing that whets the appetite for an upcoming season of a TV show more than a behind-the-scenes video, and the newest clip from Girls has us extremely excited for season 4, coming in January.
In this brand new video, Lena Dunham and her castmates give some insight into what’s in store for their respective characters, as well as news of guest stars.
Here’s what we learned from the two-minute teaser:
** 1. Hannah goes to college in Iowa **
She loves Adam, but she’s left him to go to the esteemed Iowa Writer’s Workshop. Does she stay? Probably not. How can Hannah’s entire season take place in Iowa? She belongs in Brooklyn.
**2. Marni’s affair with her co-performer Desi continues **
They decide to make a real go of it with their music – and their affair. Desi still has a girlfriend, though.
3. Shosh’s parents are in it
Her mother is played by excellent Saturday Night Live alumn Ana Gasteyer. They hate each other.
4. Zachary Quinto guest stars
The Heroes/Star Trek/American Horror Story star pops up for a split second at a party. Not clear what his role is as of yet.
5. Jessa gets in trouble with the police
She thinks she knows everything, and still doesn’t.
**6. Hannah’s gay ex-boyfriend ‘tags along’ to Iowa **
Attends some frat parties.
