Cameron Diaz And Benji Madden Announce Birth Of Daughter Raddix

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have had the perfect start to 2020 by welcoming a baby daughter. The actress (who is now pretty much retired) and musician took to Instagram to reveal their happy news and their baby's name, Raddix Madden.

'Happy New Year from the Maddens,' the post began. 'We are so happy, blessed and grateful to being this new decade by announcing the birth of out daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family.'

The couple also asked for their little one's privacy to be respected, adding, 'While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little's one's privacy. So we won't be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute!! Some would even say RAD:)'

They signed off the post with, 'From our family to all of yours, we're sending our love and best wishes for a Happy New Year and Happy New Decade. Sincerely, Cameron&Benj'.

Their joyful news comes after reports that Cameron, 47, and Benji, 40, were attempting IVF to conceive a baby in 2018 to no avail. A source at the time told Us Weekly that the stars 'would love to have a baby, and it just hasn’t worked out yet'. Cameronand Benji started dating in 2014 after meeting at one of her dinner parties, beforetying the knot the following year.
