Britney Spears has called out her sister Jamie Lynn - and what appears to be the rest of her family - in a new Instagram post.
The image shows a woman rescuing her sister underwater - with the picture bringing the singer to tears.
“This picture is everything to me !!! It makes me want to cry ... she’s saving her divine feminine sister 🧜🏻♀️ !!!!” Britney posted to her Instagram account, in a post about how family and friends didn’t reach out at a time when she needed it most - making them complicit in her conservatorship, which saw her forced to have an IUD, forced to perform against her will and not allowed her own phone.
Last week, her father Jamie was finally suspended from her conservatorship, which he set up over 13 years ago, when a judge ruled it was in the singer’s best interest to remove him from the shocking legal set up.
In the post, Britney then offered ‘advice’ on how to help someone who’s facing a hard time. “I suggest if you have a friend that’s been in a house that feels really small for four months … no car … no phone … no door for privacy and they have to work around 10 hours a day 7 days a week and give tons of blood weekly with never a day off … I strongly suggest you go pick up your friend and get them the hell outta there,” she wrote.
She then directly referenced her family in the post, as well as thanking her lawyer who was instrumental in bringing her conservatorship to an end. “If you’re like my family who says things like “sorry, you’re in a conservatorship” … probably thinking you’re different so they can f**k with you !!!!” said Britney. “Thankfully I found an amazing attorney Mathew Rosengart who has helped change my life 🌹!!!!”
