With some of the biggest names in music descending upon London’s O2 Arena, this year’s Brit Awards ceremony wasn’t short of talking points.
As predicted, Adele reigned supreme. The megastar walked away with four awards, stole the show in two equally killer outfits and used her ‘Best British Female’ acceptance speech as a platform to lend her support to American singer Kesha, who is currently engaged in a legal battle with record label Sony and her producer, Dr. Luke.
Other winners included Coldplay, who were crowned Best British Band; One Direction, who were a shoe-in for Best Music Video thanks to an army of Twitter-savvy fans, and Justin Bieber, who quite literally set the stage on fire for a performance of ‘Love Yourself’ and ‘Sorry.’
Of course, it wasn't all about the music, and when it came to the red carpet outfits, there were plenty of award-worthy looks. Here are some of our favourite fashion moments.
Bieber's Saint Laurent Bomber
Saint Laurent
It's entirely socially acceptable to identify as a Belieber now, right? Good. The best thing about Justin's mash-up of 'Sorry' and 'Love Yourself' wasn't the cameo from another, British JB (cue thousands of Google searches for 'What is James Bay hiding under the hat, though?'), or the fact that his stage show seemed inspired by the campfire from Abba's video for 'Fernando.' Instead, it was his scene-stealing tropical-print silk bomber jacket from Saint Laurent that sent Twitter into meltdown.
Rihanna's Red Carpet Triumph
Goff
Thanks to her much-publicised no-show at the Grammys earlier this month, it was touch-and-go whether Rihanna would decide to grace Greenwich with her presence. Luckily for us (and presumably for the entire Brits team...) she turned up - and did so in jaw-dropping style. The singer was work, work work, work, working (yes, we went there)
a delicate layered lilac gown that's fresh from the runway - you might recognise it from Armani Privé's Paris S/S'16 couture show.
Anais Gallagher's Seventies ensemble
Rex Features
We first spotted her on the front row at London Fashion Week earlier this month, and it seems that Anais Gallagher's red carpet style game is equally strong. She's the daughter of Nineties royalty Noel Gallagher and Meg Mathews, but the 16-year-old took inspiration from another decade, the Seventies, with a powdery blue suit, silk blouse and loose waves. Why weren't we this cool as teens?

Adele, we are not worthy. On top of winning basically every other award on the night - and winning us all over for the millionth time with her acceptance speeches - the singer's style choices were also particularly strong. We love the deep red dress (a custom Giambattista Valli number) which she arrived in, and the more dramatic sequinned style which she wore for her closing performance of 'When We Were Young.'
