If there’s one thing we’re not-so-secretly hoping for this year, then it’s the rebirth of Hollywood’s former top power couple: Brad and Jen. And, by the looks of things so far, then our dreams could come true. Earlier this month, they were spotted attending not one - but two - Golden Globes after parties. And last night, some totally adorable photos of the ex-couple were captured backstage at the SAG Awards, which promptly sent the internet into complete meltdown.
The pair, who divorced in 2005, were spotted embracing backstage - after Jen won an award for her role as news anchor Alex Levy on The Morning Show, and Brad won best supporting actor for his portrayal of stuntman Cliff Booth in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. There’s even one photo where Jen has her hand on Brad’s chest. Our hearts!
Obviously, we’re not the only people going wild over the photo. Jamie Lynn Spears quickly commented on the photo: ‘WE WILL BE TELLING OUR GRANDKIDS ABOUT THIS. THAT'S HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS.’ Whereas Rumer Willis stated: ‘My tender heart can't take this.’ ‘This is first thing I saw this morning and I wasn’t emotionally prepared,’ one Twitter user wrote. ‘I can’t even string a sentence together because of this photo. They should put warnings on it.’
As Brad gave his acceptance speech, Jen could be seen laughing as Brad joked about his love life and even being on Tinder. ‘I'm going to add this to my Tinder profile,’ he said jokily, adding: ‘Let's be honest. It was a difficult part, a guy who gets high, takes his shirt off and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch.’
