All parents are embarrassing. Even if they’re world famous music superstars.

Blue Ivy Shushed Jay-Z And Beyoncé And Won The Grammys

Sat in the front row between Jay-Z and Beyoncé (who have a combined 41 Grammys btw), dressed in white with sparkly silver shoes, little Blue Ivy let it be known she runs the world. The adorable 6-year-old blessed the Internet with a viral Grammy moment (and consequently a new meme and reaction gif) when she shushed her own parents with the confidence and the assertiveness of a queen.

While former Fifth Harmony singer Camilla Cabello gave a speech on immigration, Jay-Z and Beyoncé began to clap only to be swiftly told to chill by their oldest daughter. The moment, captured on camera, quickly did the rounds on Twitter.

Some went mythical with a Game of Thrones reference: ‘Blue Ivy of the House Carter, First of Her Name, the Unbothered, Queen of the Roc Nation, Khaleesi of Great Sass, Breaker of Internets, and Daughter of a Mother Who Slays All made the entire #GRAMMYs worth the watch.’

Others saw it as proof that Blue Ivy runs the Carter household: ‘The icon #BlueIvy has spoken... mom we are not clapping right now #Beyonce #GRAMMYs'

As if she wasn’t already the queen of precocious celebrity kids, Blue Ivy further cemented her legend status when she scolded her own parents on live television. We should have known by her heels and her sequined clutch that she did not come to play.

Despite being nominated for the most awards of the night, Jay-Z left empty handed. Beyoncé didn’t release anything eligible for this year’s awards. Looks like the only winner in the Carter household last night was Blue Ivy.

Jay and Bey might be the most famous musicians in the world but to Blue Ivy they’re just mom and dad.
