Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds’ Daughters Make Their First Public Appearance

Brace yourselves. The first photographs of the Reynolds-Lively family have arrived, and they’re about as perfect as we could ever hope.

Since their eldest daughter James was born nearly two years ago, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have chosen to keep the children out of the spotlight – they’ve almost never featured on the social media profiles of either parent, and as yet, we’re yet to learn the name of their second daughter, who arrived in September this year.

That all changed yesterday, however, when Deadpool actor Ryan was honoured with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. To mark the occasion, he brought along not only his wife and mother in law, but his two young daughters, allowing their family to make a very sweet public debut. And yes, with such genetically blessed parents, it’s hardly surprising that both James and their as-yet-untitled baby girl are very cute indeed.

In his speech, Ryan thanked his wife, describing her as ‘the best thing that has ever happened’ to him, though his trademark humour stopped things from getting too gushing.

‘I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there, who is everything to me,’ he said. ‘You are the best thing, the best thing that has ever happened to me – second only to this star. You make everything better. You make everything in my life better.’

‘You’ve given me two of the most incredible children I’ve ever hoped to have. You’ve made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun uncle potential.’

While Blake tried to help James to pose for a family photo, it seemed that the two-year-old had other ideas, managing to grab a microphone to play with. According to her dad, ‘it’s not the first time she’s snatched a mic out of someone’s hands.’

Will this mark the start of future family outings? And when will we find out daughter number two’s name? So many questions…
