Ah pregnancy, such a beautiful time. Blake Lively has opened up about the discomforts of pregnancy during a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. And she’s not enjoying carrying a baby in the New York July heat.

“It should be illegal to be pregnant in New York in July,” she told the host, revealing that she was even considering desperate measures.

“I swear; I’m going to make my water break just so I can cool down.”

The 28-year-old actress obviously enjoyed the chance to be honest about her distress, also revealing: “Everybody says, ‘How are you feeling?’ but they don’t really want to hear how you’re feeling. They don’t want to sit there while you complain.”

Lively is also mum to 19-month-old daughter James with husband Ryan Reynolds, and the former Gossip Girl star also told Fallon that her daughter is already developing some choice language.

“She says ‘shump’ for jump, ‘shtand’ for stand and if she wants to sit down, it’s ‘shit’.

“But I will take that any day over when we take her to the park and we take off her socks — for some reason she doesn’t have her ‘sh’ for socks, she has a ‘c’ for socks…

“It’s like I have Amy Schumer as a daughter, minus the immense talent!”
