Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are in many ways the ultimate #relationshipgoals (second only to Chrissy Teigen and John Legend). The couple, who have two daughters together and have been married since 2012, are known for trolling each other online relentlessly, much to their fans’ delight.
Previous incidents have seen Reynolds cutting Lively out of a picture of them on Instagram on her birthday, while Lively retaliated by wishing Ryan Gosling ‘happy birthday’ instead of her hubbie. They’ve also mocked each other’s film posters, fashion choices and baking skills, and basically, nothing is off limits for their fans’ enjoyment.
But now the golden couple have revealed a new interesting tidbit in the midst of their most recent trolling incident: that Blake Lively drove herself and Reynolds to the hospital while she was in labour.
The news came out as Reynolds responded to Lively’s latest cryptic Tweet promoting her new film A Simple Favour. In it, she plays a missing girl called Emily, and has already deleted her entire Instagram (including un-following Reynolds) to promote it. He replied to her latest batch of promo by saying: ‘You can tell me. We’re married. You once drove me to the hospital when you were giving birth. So… what the f*ck happened to Emily?’
So it’s official: Blake Lively is officially the kind of incredible woman who can drive herself to the hospital, all while suffering the pains of labour. Blake, we salute you.
