While most Met Gala guests hit up the unofficial after-party at the Top of the Standard (aka the Boom Boom Room) in New York, some decided champagne and air-kisses were not for them – namely Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
Blake, who wore a pretty spectacular glittering Gucci gown to the event on Monday night, told Extra TV that she headed straight for the frozen desserts after the ball. ‘I ate hot fudge sundae,' she said.' That's what I look forward to, because you're just in a corseted gown all night. Just give me a hot fudge sundae. I went to Serendipity. Frozen hot chocolate, extra peanut butter sauce on the side. I closed that place down!’
Heading to directly to fast food/dessert spots is most definitely a post-red-carpet theme among A-list stars, who generally cut back on the 'fun' foods in the weeks leading up to the main event. Remember that time Hilary Swank stopped at In-N-Out Burger right after she won her Oscar? She literally plonked that statue on the formica table and tucked into a cheeseburger. She was papped, of course. Best post-Oscars shot ever!
Blake, who lives with her husband in a little town in New York, has previously said she likes to bake and hates the gym, but avoids basic obesity by walking, hiking and biking. She also cooks using fresh, healthy ingredients.
We wonder if her and Ryan have ‘who’s hotter? contests at home? It’s literally bonkers how hot they both are. Can you even imagine what their kids will look like?
