A lip reader has reportedly deciphered the interaction between Blake Lively and Amy Schumer at SNL50: The Anniversary Special last weekend, amid the former's warring with Justin Baldoni. E! News shared a clip of Gossip Girl heroine Blake, 37, and comedian Amy, 43, sharing an embrace before exchanging what appeared to be heartfelt words.
Now, lipreader Nicola Hickling has exposed what she believes Amy said to Blake during the short conversation. As the women hugged, Nicola thinks that Blake confessed, 'I need this hug so much' before saying, 'God help me' as she glanced over at her husband Ryan Reynolds. The lipreader believes that Amy then assured Blake that she is 'going to be okay' and added, allegedly in reference to Ryan, 'They are projecting onto him.'
The mum of four is thought to have replied, 'That’s perfect, thank you for being there.'

It Ends With Us co-stars Blake and Justin continue to make global headlines as their legal battle rumbles on. It started in December when Blake filed a lawsuit accusing Justin of sexual harassment, which prompted him to not only vehemently deny the allegations, but file a countersuit in January. While they might not go to a potential trial until March next year, raw video footage from the set of It Ends With Us - which Justin also directed - as well as text messages have formed part of the narrative online.
Many took a comment of Ryan's at SNL50 to be a thinly veiled reference to the ongoing drama. When Tina Fey and Amy Poehler said, 'Ryan Reynolds! How’s it going?' he replied, 'Great! Why, what have you heard?'
SNL50 signified Blake and Ryan's first red-carpet appearance since she filed her bombshell lawsuit. Body language expert Judi James claimed that the actress showed 'signs of stoicism and confidence' at the event, but her joint appearances with Ryan, 48, felt more awkward and rehearsed.

Judi said, 'Initially, both seem intending to smile for the cameras, but those smiles look forced as they start to build on their faces.'
She added, 'Ryan quickly turns to whisper in Blake’s ear though which serves a couple of positive purposes. The "I’ve got a secret" pose of ear-whispering suggests closeness and even some flirting. It also works in terms of making Blake laugh and Ryan follows up the whispering with an eyebrow flash gesture, which is a popular and positive tie-sign.'
