Following her Internet-breaking pregnancy announcement, at last night’s Grammys all eyes were on Beyoncé. Her first public appearance since revealing she was expecting twins, her performance did not disappoint.
Taking to the stage to sing two songs from her hit album, Lemonade (Love Drought and Sandcastles), Queen B lived up to her name in two regal gold outfits. A floor-length beaded gown and a bejeweled bikini, both worn with an impressive crown.
Her outfits for the night were created by Peter Dundas - former Roberto Cavalli Creative Director and longtime Beyoncé collaborator.
Introduced on stage by her mother, Tina Knowles, the nine minute show-stopping performance saw Beyoncé execute a highly choreographed routine with a troupe of backing dancers, and even attempt a daring stint as she was lifted in the air on a chair.
Watching proudly from the audience were Jay Z and an adorable Blue Ivy.
Scooping gongs for the Best Music Video (for Formation) and Best Urban Contemporary Album (for Lemonade), Beyoncé gave a powerful speech about race and beauty.
Naturally, the Internet went wild for Beyoncé's performance, and people did not hold back when it came to sharing their love via social media.
Celebrities were quick to share their appreciation. Including Chrissy Teigen...
Elizabeth Banks...
and Jemima Kirke.
Fans could not keep calm
Others joked about her memorable performance
And people couldn't stop talking about that chair
