When Beyoncé announced that she is pulling out of Coachella, the Internet was in pieces (talk about being a tease). While her decision to postpone her Coachella appearance until 2018 is totally legitimate – being pregnant with twins is a pretty good reason – she has left some very big shoes to fill. After all, Bey's stunning Grammy performance last month had us on the edge of our seats (get it?).

Those shoes, it has been decided, will be filled by Lady Gaga, who performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show back in December and also at the Super Bowl last month.

As Beyoncé would have been the first woman to headline Coachella since Björk in 2007 (how bad is that?!), we’re sure Gaga will make a show of it, and no theatrics will be spared.

If last month’s Super Bowl is anything to go by – where Gaga performed her and Beyonce’s song ‘Telephone’ in light of Bey’s pregnancy announcement – we’re sure Lady Gaga will be making a lot of references to the much-missed Queen B throughout her set.
