This weekend Beyoncé had her baby shower, and in true Beyoncé style it was not a casual affair.
Forget a simple afternoon of games and cupcakes, Beyoncé through a a lavish African-themed party.
Dubbing the event, 'The Carter Push Party', Beyoncé dressed for the occasion in an African-inspired get-up with an impressive headdress and her bump covered in henna tatoos.
Naturally, she took to Instagram to share her favourite polaroid snaps of the day.
Firstly of her outfit and ever-growing bump...
and secondly with husband Jay Z.
Joining the happy couple included Beyoncé's former Destiny's Child bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams as well as good pal Serena Williams, who is also currently expecting.
Lucikly Bey's mum, Tina Knowles was also on hand to share some further snaps and videos of the event. Tina's uploads give us a glimpse of the opulent tent and extensive buffet, as well as the other guests in attendance.
It also appears Beyoncé had set-up a photo booth style area where guests could recreate her now-iconic pregnancy annoucement shoot. Of course, Tina gave it a go...
With just weeks to go until Beyoncé gives birth, we can't wait to see what she has in store to celebrate her new twins...
