The inevitable has happened, Beyoncé has cancelled her upcoming gig at Coachella festival.
The singer, who is pregnant with twins, will not perform at the April event, but will instead headline in 2018, reports The Associated Press.
Goldenvoice, the festival’s producer, confirmed in a statement that Beyoncé was under strict doctor's orders not to perform.
"Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding," the statement said.
Needless to say, Beyoncé’s fans excited for her first ever Coachella, are not too happy at the news.
People are already requesting ticket refunds.
Many of her fans were devastated by the blow.
