Beyoncé And Nicki Minaj's Video Is Fit, But We Don't Know It

There’s an old philosophical question which asks: if a tree falls in the middle of the woods and there’s no-one there to see it, does it really fall at all? And that’s what we’re pondering while watching Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé’s sportswear-brimming video for Feelin’ Myself.

Why? Because the video is on Tidal and we never quite considered that we’d actually ever sign up to Tidal, which you can subscribe to for £12.99 a month (can we pause a second to talk about the fact that Americans also pay $12.99 – which works out to less cost than us Brits, as the exchange rate puts it at about £8.40!).

Up until now, Jay-Z’s lofty scheme to try and get people to pay millionaire pop stars a bit more money (although to be fair, streaming things from such as Spotify doesn’t make money for smaller acts) didn’t seem to work, as all of the acts who signed up to Tidal in that big public swearing-in ceremony – Madonna, Beyoncé, Kanye, Daft Punk, Coldplay, and many more – hadn’t removed their work from places like Spotify.

So there was nothing you could get on Tidal that you couldn’t get anywhere else – apart from a Rihanna video and let’s face it, there’s nothing that’ll top We Found Love for Rihanna, video-wise, so we kind of ignored it. Until now.

Here’s what we know about the Feelin’ Myself video: Nicki and Bey wear matching black sportswear, they sit in a hot tub wearing pink fur jackets and they eat massive burgers, and yes, we might actually cough up for this sort of decadence based entirely on Ireland Baldwin’s reaction:
