Awards ceremonies have been incredibly different, and definitely more subdued, this year. But, for 2021, the BAFTAs used the current restrictions as a chance to try something new. After being pushed back from its usual February date, the ceremony finally happened this weekend.

Why were there two ceremonies?
The first ceremony happened on Saturday April 10 on BBC Two, hosted by Clara Amfo.
Then, the second ceremony happened on Sunday April 11, presented by Dermot O'Leary and Edith Bowman.
Sadly, this was a largely virtual affair, but Dermot and Edith were also joined by a small group of awards presenters at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as additional presenters joining from Los Angeles.
Those guests were brought to the Royal Albert Hall in a fleet of Audis, as the car brand is the BAFTA's official car provider.
