On Saturday night Ava Phillippe, daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, appeared at Parisian debutante ball, Le Bal des Débutantes.
Known on the circuit as Le Bal, the event has been bringing together eligible men and women from across the world each November since 1992. Inspired by traditional 'coming out' parties of the past, the twenty or so women that are chosen to attend must wear couture gowns and the event raises money for a number of selected charities.
Held this year at the glitzy Peninsula Hotel, for her big moment the 18-year-old wore a glittering gold Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown.
Accompanied on the red carpet by her Reese and her her husband, Jim Toth, Ava’s date for the evening was 19-year-old Maharaja of Jaipur Padmanabh Sing.
The Indian royal is a polo player and reportedly a friend of Prince William. In videos shared via Instagram the pair can be seen dancing the waltz to a tune from La La Land.
This year’s 20 women included six Americans with Steve Harvey's daughter Lori also in attendance. Famous offspring that have attended in previous years include the daughters of Sylvester Stallone, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis and Annette Bening.
