Twilight actress Ashley Greene is being sued by her building manager after he says he suffered respiratory damage due to smoke inhalation during the blaze.
Adrian Mayorga said in a deposition that Ashley, her brother Joe and her 'boyfriend' Ryan Phillippe were all disoriented when the left the apartment after the fire broke out. He said they looked like they were ‘drunk or under the influence of something’ and says that a glass crack pipe was found under the couch when the apartment was being cleaned after the fire.
The fire broke out while the three were sleeping in the apartment and a candle set the couch alight. One of Ashley’s dogs died in the fire, that happened in March 2013.
Although they were actually spotted leaving a restaurant and getting into a car together that same month, Ryan Phillippe he said under oath that he was not in the apartment that night, or ever.
As for leaving the apartment looking disoriented, isn’t that how people look when they’ve inhaled smoke? In any case, we hope the crack pipe thing isn’t true. In the immortal words of the great Whitney Houston: crack is wack.
A number of tenants and owners are also suing the star because their apartments were severely damaged in the fire.
