Ariana Grande has been rocking her signature look for longer than we realised, if her latest Insta-snap is anything to go by.
The sassy singer shared an adorable photo of her as a kid with poker-straight hair and a high ponytail, which she captioned, "if anything .... she’s consistent". Fans went wild for the cute snap, with many joking that she hadn't changed a bit.
One comment read, 'Was this taken yesterday?' Another added, 'You are soo cute,' while one fan branded her the 'queen of ponytails'.
Funnily enough, the 26-year-old star's hair has been a talking point this week after her hairstylist Josh Liu shared a snap of her rocking natural curls. While Ariana is rarely seen without her high pony, she looked gorgeous with curly hair.
Josh shared the photo for Ariana's healthy, lustrous locks, alongside the caption, 'natural curls coming in strong with a little tlc'.
It must have spurred Ariana on to share her curls too, as she responded to a fan begging for photos with a video of her natural curls complete with a cute Instagram filter.
Pete Davidson's ex has been wearing her hair in a high pony for years, after revealing she had damaged it so badly after bleaching it and dying it red for so long that she has to wear extensions.
After fans made cruel comments about her barnet, Ariana took to Facebook to have her say, writing, 'I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat... as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair. I now wear a wig on Sam & Cat.
'My real hair is back to brown and I wear extensions but I wear it in a pony tail because my actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down.'
It must have recovered, because Ariana's natural curls look amazing to us!
