Apparently These Two Spice Girls Have Fallen Out. This Is Terrible Thursday News

So guys, in terrible-news-Thursdays, the Spice Girls have just gone and crushed all our dreams as if they didn't do it well enough during their original split in 2000.

According to The Sun, Mel B (Scary Spice, FYI) has unfollowed Mel C (Sporty Spice – come on, don't you know them by now?) on Instagram and Twitter. Ice. Cold.

It comes after reports that Mel B, Geri Horner (previously Halliwell) and Emma Bunton have been meeting to record new songs. There's speculation that something could be in the works for the 20th anniversary of the release of their first ever single, Wannabe, on 8th July.

Speaking to the Mirror, Mel B had said, 'It’s funny, because back in the day people thought we had everything written for us but we’ve always written all our own songs. That’s why we’ve won Ivor Novello awards and all sorts. Everything always comes from us, and to do something for our 20-year anniversary is the ultimate dream. If we do anything, we will be writing everything from scratch. We are all group texting and speak a lot.’

Victoria Beckham has already bowed out of the reunion; not surprising considering that she has her own fashion line and an upcoming make-up collection with Estée Lauder.

Mel C also pulled out of the reunion to ‘focus on a more serious music career’, according again to *The Sun, *which could explain Mel B's social media cull.

They speculated that now with only three of the five original members remaining, there have been suggestions of a Spice Girls talent show to find a new member. Which, I think we can all agree, would be incredible.

Anyway, it seems only fitting to end the article on this note:
