Two years ago, one of the most iconic moments in Love Island history happened: Anton Danyluk cried when Craig David performed in the villa. In fact, according to tabloid reports, later Anton and Belle Hassan{ =nofollow}, who he coupled up with on the show, split because Anton met Craig without Belle. Which, to be honest, is a totally legit reason for wanting to break up with someone, right?

Anyway, after his time on the show, Anton - a gym owner - has amassed a million followers on Instagram, and he's also in the process of writing a self-help book called 50 Steps To The Best Version Of Yourself.

But, following his time on the series, apparently he doesn't speak to the rest of the cast - as he says they've all started to take themselves a bit too seriously after becoming influencers and have 'forgot where they came from'. 'People come off the show, get their blue tick, get their million followers and go so far up their a**es it's unbelievable,' he said, speaking on CASA Spin podcast - potentially giving words of wisdom to those leaving the villa in future. 'It's quite sad but at the same time I always appreciate the journey I had with the people in there.'

That year, the likes of Molly-Mae, Ovie, Tommy and Maura graced the infamous neon villa. In fact, there were so many favourites we can't list them. However, he says the only person he is still close friends with ispharmacist Anna{ =nofollow}. 'I only speak to Anna, that's it,' he continued. 'Me and Anna are very close.'

Anton also spoke about the friendships he had while inside the villa, saying he thought they would 'last forever'. 'The friendships are massive, they're really, really big in there,' he said. 'You think they're gonna last forever and they feel like [brothers] and sisters but obviously sometimes it just doesn't end up that way.' (Is it just us getting a bit emotional here - or?)

Meanwhile, on this year's Love Island, there have been accusations that some of the cast are in it purely to boost their social media followers. Surprise, surprise. It has been reported thatLucinda Strafford is now back with her ex-boyfriend, a Premier League footballer, and many have said on Twitter that it appears Hugo Hammond is there for a free holiday, as he refuses to make any effort with any of the women in the villa.
