Anne Hathaway is famous for remaining tight-lipped when it comes to her family. But the actress has spoken out for the first time since welcoming her son, Jonathon, with husband Adam Shulman last year.
The 34-year-old revealed to the Metro how motherhood has changed her: “I’m happy when things are simple. Since having a kid, I find it a lot easier to do that.”
She continued, “The day begins with a checklist: Is he breathing? Is he healthy? Is he growing? Is he thriving? If I get four yeses it’s really hard to upset my day.”
The Devil Wears Prada star first announced that she was expecting a child back in December 2014 with a rare Instagram snap of her blossoming baby bump.
And ever since, the actress has been blissfully happy.
“I just wasn’t feeling satisfied by the other stuff. It was too stressful and kept me at a distance from things that I loved…I think I was searching like everybody for greater peace,” Anne continued.
