Anna Wintour And David Beckham Are Not On The Front Row… At The Tennis

It's not a seating plan she's used to, not sitting upfront, but on this occasion Anna Wintour didn't seem to mind...

Straight from the FROW of Victoria Beckham's SS16 show in New York yesterday, the US Vogue editor whisked herself off to the US Open tennis finals, where she sat (as she had done earlier in the day) next to VB's husband, David, but this time, *not *on the front row.

In an upper row of the Arthur Ashe Stadium (behind Bradley Cooper) Anna and David watched Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer, three sets to one, in what was – as ever – a close and nail-biting match between the two sporting megastars.

Joining the fashion and football legends was Anna's daughter, Bee Shaffer, who had also attended VB's SS16 show, and arrived at the late afternoon tennis match wearing the same outfit; a blue gingham mid-sleeved day dress.

Brooklyn Beckham, who had supported his mother earlier too, was absent from the tennis, although a legion of other VIPs made the event: Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Connory, Robert Redford and Queen Latifah were all snapped courtside.

The tennis match ended what had been a busy day for the Beckhams; not only had the couple and their eldest son come together for Victoria's show, but the three were pictured lunching at popular A-list restaurant Balthazar straight afterwards. And considering the instant praise the fashion designer received for her latest collection, it is clear they had much to celebrate.
