**On tackling the stigmatization of survivors of sexual violence in conflict. ** "We can all imagine what it would be like if we were impregnanted by a rape, and how it would change our lives but I think the absolute worst thing is when you are in countries when you are so stigmatised and really they are made to blame for the crime themselves. It seems unthinkable.”
**On educating her family **"I talk to the children about refugee day and we celebrate it in our house. We think of the people who are going through difficult situations, but we talk about their resilience and strength.I never want them to look at these people with pity."

Listen to Angelina Jolie Pitt’s Woman’s Hour Takeover live this Friday 17th June at 10am on BBC Radio 4
On June 7 we wrote...
Angelina Jolie’s talents see no end. An Oscar-winning actress. Mum of six. Film director. Humanitarian. You couldn’t pigeonhole her even if you tried.
And now, the 41-year-old star will be doing her best Edith Bowman impression as she turns her efforts to radio, after it was announced she will guest edit BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.
Angelina’s appearance on the show takes place during ‘guest editor’ week – which runs from June 13th until the 17th – with previous guest editor's including J K Rowling and SATC star Kim Cattrall.
Jolie will be joined by four other influential women who’ve been invited to appear on our favourite radio show. The line-up also includes: Great British Bake-off judge Mary Berry, England footballer Eniola Aluko, Scottish poet Jackie Kay and author Sunetra Gupta.
Woman's Hour editor Alice Feinstein said that each guest editor would bring 'their own curiosity and unique insights' and share 'their personal experiences on a series of topics.'
Angelina will use her slot on June 17 to examine sexual violence in conflict and women’s health, a particularly close issue to her heart in her role as special envoy for the UNHCR, the UN refugee agency.
It appears as though the Hollywood star is making another statement too - after swapping LA life for London recently - as Brad Pitt shoots the World War Z sequel. She was even a guest lecturer at the London School of Economics last month.
Hmm, Professor Jolie Pitt and Radio Host.
Is there anything this woman can’t do?!
