According To Amy Hart, Love Island’s Casa Amor Is ‘Pure Hell’

Last night, after a slow three weeks, the drama started to kick off Love Island. Finally, the boys were whisked away to Casa Amor to meet the new bombshells - as the original girls stayed in the main villa to mingle with the new boys.

Without doubt, the next few days are going to change the dynamic of the current couples, with the islanders being tested to the dizzy limit. As you’ll remember last year, Casa Amor wreaked havoc. Anton met Belle; Michael left Amber for Joanna; Anna left Jordan for Ovie (to then go back to Jordan); Lucie coupled up with George (and all they seemed to talk about was their favourite food). The most brutal result of Casa Amor, though, was the split of Amy and Curtis, which resulted in Amy walking from the villa after he admitted that his head had been turned.

Now, as Casa Amor rears its ugly head again, Amy has spoken about how hard she found those days away from Curtis. ‘Casa Amor is literally mentally torturous when it all kicks off,’ she tweeted. ‘When you get back it is a totally different ball game, but not knowing what’s going on is pure hell. Sending so much love to the gals.’ In a separate tweet, she then added, ‘And before people say “you know what you signed up for” we knew it was coming, but I never knew five days could be that long (should have just gone home).’

This year, Callum and Shaughna look like they might be first couple to fall victim to the Casa Curse. (Spoiler alert!) In tonight’s episode, a challenge will see Callum kiss new girl Molly. He also admits he has a ‘sexual attraction’ to Molly, and says that he doesn’t feel the same way for Shaughna. And, perhaps tellingly, unlike the other guys, in yesterday's episode Callum didn’t leave anything for Shaughna under her pillow when he left... (Luke T left Siannise his fluffy grey eye mask.)
