You know what it's like, you get an unexpected bonus at work, you want to blow it all on something nice, right? That's probably what it's like winning a reality TV show and suddenly finding yourself having the biggest pay day ever. Yep, exactly the same.

Amber, one half of winning Love Island couple Amber and Kem has been talking to the Sun about what she spent her winnings on. ‘I bought myself a Chanel bag. I thought to myself: “Well I did win the show,” so I treated myself to a celebratory Chanel bag. Just one handbag isn’t going to hurt is it?'

Despite Amber shelling out on some designer gear not long after cashing in, boyfriend Kem has previously admitted he was ‘scared’ of spending money, explaining ‘I’m not tight, but I get scared to spend too much money, it’s just the way I am’.

It doesn’t look like the couple are going to run out of money anytime soon either, with Amber scoring a £500k modelling contract with brand Motel Rocksand Kem landing his own deal with Boohoo Man. Kem has been revealed to be the highest earning contestant from Love Island 2017 by far and is rumoured to have made £250,000 before even leaving the villa. The pair have also bagged a gig on Good Morning Britain, presenting the showbiz section. It looks like August 2017's power couple will be on our screens for a little while longer.
