Amanda Seyfried and fiancé Thomas Sadoski got married in secret last Sunday. The couple announced that they were engaged in September last year and are expecting their first child together.
Sadoski revealed the exciting news to James Cordon on The Late Late Show: "We eloped. We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing."
He went on to describe the ceremony as ‘perfect’ as the couple decided to write their own vows for the wedding.
He continued: "It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other."
And it turns out that the only witness at their nuptials was their pet dog, who they took for a walk through the country after the ceremony before heading home.
The couple met in 2015 on the set of Broadway play, The Way We Get By. The pair didn’t start dating until they started filming The Last Word several months later however, as Amanda was still in a relationship with Justin Long while Sadoski was in the middle of ending his eight-year marriage.
Sadoski told James Cordon: "She's the person I love, admire and respect most in the world.”
