On Tuesday, Bhad Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, released a diss track titled Ms. Whitman aimed at fellow singer Alabama Barker (daughter of Blink 182's Travis Barker), set to the backing of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign's song Carnival.
Although remixed versions of the track began circulating online, with what appeared to be Kanye’s voice in a verse, Kanye has now clarified that the audio was in fact AI-generated.
The 47-year-old rapper said, 'I’m not in the middle of none of this AI beef. People throwing my voice on things, the whole Carnival sample. I just talked to Travis Barker. I would never be in the middle. I don’t even know what’s going on.'
The title of the song is a reference to the character Alabama Whitman from the 1993 film True Romance, after whom Alabama Barker, 19, is named.
Here’s everything you need to know about the feud…
The 'Bhackground'
The feud between the pair began in December 2024, when 21-year-old Bhad Bhabie — known by many as the ‘Catch Me Outside, How ’Bout Dah’ girl who went viral on Dr. Phil — accused of 'stealing' her 26-year-old ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Le Vaughn. Bhad Bhabie AKA Danielle gave birth to their daughter, Kali Love, in March 2024, however a few months later she admitted that she had cheated on Le Vaughan (real name Chris Iam LeVaughn) with rapper and record producer Chief Keef— also known as Keith Farrelle Cozart. In November, Bhad Bhabie also revealed that she had been diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia.

The couple took a two week break after Bhad Bhabie’s infidelity, which is when she asserts that he began courting Alabama. She even claims she tracked LeVaughn’s car to Alabama’s neighbourhood.
However, after Bhad Bhabie’s accusations, Alabama responded on Instagram stating that she had ‘no interest’ in Vaughn and was completely unaware that he and Bhad Bhabie were an item. In a now deleted post, Alabama also accused Le Vaughn of abuse, writing, ‘He threw a bottle at my head, resulting in significant injury… I also have continued evidence of him harassing me, including using fake numbers to contact me, and expressing his love for me.’ In response, Le Vaughn took to Instagram to deny the allegations and accused Alabama of lying to protect her image. He shared a photo of the two of them together, reportedly taken after the alleged bottle-throwing incident, where she had no visible bruises.
The rap battle begins
On January 27th 2024, Bhad Bhabie released the song Overcooked, which took aim at Alabama. The song opens, ‘Bitch, you want my life, you want the dick I get, you wanna worship the ground I walk on 'cause you idolise me.' In the song, she went on to call Alabama a ‘slut’, ‘weird bitch’ and wrote, ‘Go and ask daddy for some money, everybody know that’s how you get it.’
In the song, Bhad Bhabie also alleged that Alabama had been pregnant with Le Vaughn’s child before getting an abortion (‘Hatin'-ass hoe tried steal my baby daddy, Fuckin' on..., and... got you pregnant’).
In a twist no one saw coming, Bhad Bhabie then accused Tyga of being the father on social media. In January, Alabama commented on a TikTok insisting that she was ‘absolutely not’ pregnant with Tyga’s child. Tyga, who used to date Kylie Jenner— AKA Alabama’s step-aunt— denied the affair on Twitter, writing, ‘This the dumbest shit I ever heard. I have never had any sort of physical relationship with Alabama. It’s honestly ridiculous I even have to address it.’
The clap back
Less than a month after Bhad Bhabie’s diss track, Alabama fired back with one of her own called Cry Bhabie, with the opening lyrics is, ‘I don't want to be nothing like you, Dr. Phil loser bitch.’ She goes on to defend her affair with Le Vaughn, saying, ‘I was out in LV, and LV tried to pipe me, I can't even cap, I didn't know he was your BD.’
The latest
Now, onto the most recent diss track in the saga, Ms. Whitman. Bhad Bhabie held no punches with this song. For context, Alabama is technically part of the Kardashian Klan, as her step mum is Kourtney Kardashian. In it she sang ‘stanky pussy got you kicked out the Kardashian house’ and twerks on a Travis Barker lookalike. She further included the Kardashians when she rapped, ‘Your stepmom burnt out, why she took her sister’s second-hand?’ referencing Travis Barker’s admission that he once had a crush on Kourtney’s sister, Kim Kardashian. The fact that she also used a track written by Kim's ex-husband, Kanye West, could be considered yet another dig at the famous family.
Although Alabama is yet to respond, we wouldn’t be surprised if she was on her way to the studio as we speak.
