Awkward Moment At Adele Concert Saved By Fans

'Hello? Can You Hear Me?' NO!

It's every performer's nightmare: technical difficulties during a live performance.

Adele has had her fair share of them – let's not mention this year's Grammys – but in the most recent example at a concert in Birmingham, it wasn't the technicians who saved the day, but Adele's loving and loyal fans.

In spite of no longer being able to hear the star (or even her backing music) they sang along to 'All I Ask' anyway, taking the singer all the way through to the moment the audio returned.

When the song finished, Adele – apparently unaware of what had happened – asked the audience why they had clapped halfway through. A member of her team informed her of the technical hitch after which the star, famous for not mincing her words, responded:

'The PA fxxxxxx cut off?! Ey? Oh fxxxxxx hell! Well, I didn't cut off with my ears, I could hear myself,' by which she meant the audio feed for her ear piece hadn't similarly faulted. And thank goodness for that!
