After months of speculation, Adele has finally confirmed reports she’s now married her long-term partner, former financier Simon Konecki.

Introducing the meaning behind her hit ballad Someone Like You at a concert in Brisbane, Australia this weekend, the 28-year-old singer said: ‘As bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth - and I am addicted to that feeling.’

‘Obviously, I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now,’ as the crowd erupted into cheers. ‘I’ve found my next person.’

Congrats, Adele!

Adele might be famous for her heartbreaking love songs, but when it comes to her longtime love of five years she's more guarded.

And it appears the 28-year-old been hiding some HUGE news...The Hello singer first set rumours swirling in December that she tied the knot in a secret ceremony with her partner Simon Konecki, after she was spotted with a gold ring on her wedding finger. Konecki, 42, has also been pictured recently wearing what appears to be a band on his wedding ring finger too.

When pressed for confirmation, both their reps had ‘no comment’. Although don’t hold your breath on an announcement from either camp anytime soon – who share a 4-year-old son Angelo – the pair reportedly got ‘secretly’ engaged in October.

‘Being in such an amazing relationship with someone that's so there for me and so loyal and is really part of my core now,’ Adele has gushed about her beau in an interview. ‘That's what made me write about everything I've ever done, because I've got his love.’

To celebrate the couple’s 5-year-anniversary in October, Konecki literally showered her with handwritten love notes that read ‘I love you,’ ‘Happy Anniversary!’ and ‘You are an angel.’ Aw! And during a concert last year, she also spoke out about her desire to have a second child once she had wrapped her 25 world tour.

Hmm, could marriage and more babies be Adele's big 2017 plans? Watch this space.
