Adele To Make Acting Debut - No, Hello Wasn't Proper Acting

If you thought the video for Hello, in which Adele slams a flip-phone shut very menacingly, was her acting apex, then you must think again, because the singer is in talks to make a cameo in a film, reports Deadline.

As unlikely as this sounds, given that Adele just seems to want to keep as low a profile as possible with the occasional number one thrown in, The Death and Life of John F Donovan, is directed by Xavier Dolan, who was behind Hello.

It’s not really that hard to see how Adele could get roped into doing the other acting via her video, as a favour to Xavier. But it would be her first time in a feature film.

If she doesn’t do it? The film will probably survive, with a pretty A-list cast in the form of Jessica Chastain, Kit Harington, Susan Sarandon and Kathy Bates.
