You can take pictures of your mates and caption them Squad Goals until you’re blue in the face, but nothing matches the squad that went on a night out the other day. Adele. J-Law. Emma Stone. Everyone go home.
Pictured in a cab in New York City, the A-list trio went for dinner at Cosme, the sort of mexican restaurant you wish you could afford but definitely couldn’t, after Adele had finished filming on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
According to sources, they had duck carnitas. Yes, the women who have two Academy Awards and three Oscar nominations between them, dined on duck.
Of course, you can’t mention a group of famous friends without immediately thinking of Taylor Swift – and yep, Swifty wasn’t there but she definitely could have been. She’s been friends with Emma for ages, and has a history with Jen too. Plus, she would have loads to talk about with Adele. They’re both singers. They could talk about singing and stuff.
Anyway, you know this friendship group is totally real after Jennifer recently told Entertainment Weekly: ‘The moment I feel like someone is using me or is in it for the wrong reasons, I have zero guilt about just cutting them the fuck out of my life. My bullshit detector is phenomenal. None of my friends bullshit me. Everything in my life has to be real.’
We’re glad these lot are real friends. Glad, and horribly jealous.
