Witnessing Adele going live is very rare and for good reason, we can only take so much comedy every so often. During the 41- minute Q&A, the Grammy award-winning singer voiced her support for Britney Spears, answered the most random questions and even shared a teaser of her upcoming single Easy on Me. Alicia Keys as Adele’s IT support
Many celebrities made an appearance in the comments of Adele’s live, from Demi Lovato to Pat McGrath, but a standout was Grammy award winning singer Alicia Keys. First she hinted at a collab with Adele commenting ‘AK+Adele Colab!!!,’ then she became Adele’s personal IT support. An Adele live is rare, so she is not quite up to speed with all of Instagram Live’s functions. Naturally, Alicia commented, ‘You need help baby?’ to which Adele commented sarcastically, ‘Well yes Alicia, I do need some help – someone’s trying to take me into a room.’
Adele’s confusion at everything
From random questions, to how to just how exist on an Instagram Live was creating genuine confusion for Adele. Her raised eyebrows and chaotic energy were absolutely hilarious and had fans in bits. A fan commented,’ Adopt me,’ to which she mused, ‘ I don’t think I can legally adopt you, no.’
A Peppa Pig collab?
Now, this had to be the most random question ever, but Adele’s reaction was the cherry on top. A fan was fishing for clues on Adele’s next collab and suggested children’s icon, Peppa Pig. Adele replied, ‘Am I gonna collab with Peppa Pig? NO.’ The way she said it was hilarious - a drop of disappointment mixed with sarcasm.
Eastenders V Corrie
During the chat she was asked about her favourite soap opera. We all have our favourite soap, and Adele is no different. Without missing a beat, she revealed,’ EastEnders any day over Corrie for sure.’
Easy On Me Teaser
Now this moment, really sent fans into overdrive. Adele said casually, ‘umm.. would you like to hear a little snippet of the song?.’ She revealed, ‘I might get into trouble for playing this … but let me play it for you.’ The next thing everyone heard was the classic Adele piano intro for ‘Easy on Me’.
