Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Larry David has responded to the news that Jennifer Lawrence has a crush on him, saying he probably wouldn’t go there with the 24-year-old.
J-Law talked about her crush on David in a recent interview, sayingshe has actual ‘below the belt’ (er,sexual) feelings for David: ‘I’m in love with him, and I have been for a really long time’.
It’s not like she wants someone to party all night with anyway, since her ideal man would be happy watching all sorts of bad TV with her, from Dance Moms to all the Real Housewives franchises. He would also be happy to be boring instead of passionate, and ideally he'd be okay with farting in front of her.
While this all probably sounds very appealing to Larry David, he just feels like this whole crush thing is ill-timed. By about 40-years.
‘Smart kid. It’s a shame that I’m about 40 years older than she is,’ he said, when asked about Jen during a Q&A at the New Yorker festival. ‘Maybe she’s referring to her knees. I don’t think I could do it. On one hand it’s very flattering and on the other hand, it’s kind of a shame — in terms of timing. I’d have fun watching the reality show of it though.’
So far, Jennifer’s current boyfriend Chris Martin hasn’t anything to say about her much older-man thing, and knowing how he cagey he is about his private life we doubt he’ll say anything, ever.
Jennifer’s been dating Chris since the start of the summer, doing all the usual new-crush things like showing up at Coldplay shows, celebrating her birthday with him at a romantic Hamptons vineyard, and hanging out at his house in Los Angeles.
