Just before Christmas, there was controversy in the beauty queen world when host of Miss World Steve Harvey accidentally crowned the wrong queen. This eye-wateringly awkward event between Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines made the list of key moments in 2015 that had to be recreated by Barbie dolls.
As did Justin Bieber getting papped naked while on a hotel balcony in Bora Bora in October. Obviously the ahem sensitive bits have been blurred out.
Our personal favourite has to be the artistic rendering of the moment Amy Schumer (intentionally) fell over in front of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the red carpet back in April.
They really nailed Kanye’s air of stony indifference (even if the doll looks nothing like him and more like Mr. T).
The Swedish visual artist behind the account describes themselves as someone who “never got to play with dolls as a child. This is me catching up.”
