With all the various burger joints in London, it can be hard to determine the best ones. So much so, that websites and blogs have been set up JUST on this topic.
So where do you find the tastiest burger in London?
I’ve done all the regular haunts: Byron, Honest, Five Guys, GBK, Dirty Burger… and now Tommi’s.
There are two Tommi’s locations: Kings Road and Thayer Street. As I was close to the City, my mate and I decided to pop in to the Thayer Street one; and popped in is exactly what we did.
Tommi’s Burger Joint is a quick, fast-food-style place. Inside it looks shack-like (in the best possible way!), you order at the counter, take a seat where you can, and wait for your burger and fries to be delivered in a basket.
But this ain’t no Maccy D’s! The burgers here are freshly made, big and full of flavour. I went for a Burger Of The Month (Beef, bacon, cheese, and Chipotle Mayo) while my friend built his own (steak, cheese and cocktail sauce). And just like any good friend should, he agreed to go halves so I could try both.
If you want a fast, fresh, GOOD burger I suggest visiting Tommi’s. The meat in both burgers was tender, the toppings cooked to perfection and the buns soft but strong enough not to break under pressure!
This, as well as a generous side of fries and few Camden Hells beers to wash the whole thing down, makes Tommi’s Burger Joint a good one to add to the list.
