Frankie Bridge has it sussed. At least, that’s what you’d be forgiven for thinking after flicking through her slick social media channels. Dig a little deeper, however, and you’ll find that's not quite the reality. In fact, the presenter and Sunday Times best-selling author's life is is actually refreshingly, well, normal. There’s a reason why she has has 1.5 million loyal followers and counting - she's renowned for her honesty. Speaking exclusively to Grazia, the star gives us a peek into how she manages to find time for herself as a busy Mum to Parker, 9, and Carter, 7, as well as the importance of embracing her "new self."
On her beauty routine…
‘I don’t really have time for a morning and night time routine, let's put it that way! So, my day-to-day is simply cleanse and moisturise. If I have a special event coming up, I’ll use CLOUD NINE’s Magical Remedy for my hair, and the CurrentBody LED face mask. I then make sure I do a full body scrub and moisturise my face with Naturium skincare, using a Gua Sha to sculpt. My face seems to need more moisturiser these days, so face masks and things like that are more important to me now. If It’s the school run and I’m short on time then I have a few non-negotiables - I always make sure my eyebrows are standing to attention; I have some lip balm on and a fabulous coat. A great coat elevates any outfit.'
On mental wellness…
'I think becoming a mum and getting older has made me concentrate on different things. Instead of just thinking about how I look on the outside, I focus more of my time improving myself from the inside out. I also look after my gut health with Symproveand various other vitamins.'
On body image….
'I have to be honest; I don’t think becoming a mum has changed my attitude to my body massively. I still have a conflicting relationship with it and how it’s changed since becoming a parent. It’s something I’m constantly working on. I need energy to work and look after two busy boys. So, I try to focus on nutrition and moving my body for my mind, although those things are sometimes easier said than done! I think the 90s has a lot to answer for when it comes to how women feel. When I look back and see what was acceptable to say and write about women, I’m shocked. I love that the narrative is changing now, and that body positivity is at the forefront. It’s a learning curve for women around my age. I put a lot of pressure on myself when I was in The Saturdays, but I’m learning to be more accepting now.'

On her relationship with Wayne…
'My relationship with Wayne has grown stronger because we’ve been through this journey together. I’ve had moments of self-doubt, especially with how my body changed, but he’s always been supportive. I always say to my friends not to fight to get the "old them" back because everything about you changes after you have kids. Instead, we should be concentrating on figuring out how our new self works.'
On discussing beauty standards with her family...
'Kids are so inquisitive and I love it! I’ve had to learn over time that they really listen to the words we use. Wayne and I try not to talk negatively about our appearance around them and so we discourage the use of words like “ugly”.'
Wayne and Frankie have recently celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary
