It’s officially autumn, meaning there’s no better time for a post-summer skin check - which is where Simple’s latest roadshow comes into play. Grazia visited the Simple event at Westfield London this weekend, and, if achieving good skin is your MO, we’re thrilled to say it didn’t disappoint. A deep-dive into harnessing hydrated skin, guests quickly learned that the secret to a moisturised complexion is actually pretty…well…Simple!

Situated directly outside the Boots store, the lab itself was a sight to behold - think a luminous green waterfall that was a show-stopper in itself. The first step saw us guided towards the Simple cleansing station where brand ambassadors cleansed an area of skin with a Simple make-up wipe. Current hydration levels were then tested with a nifty reading device that flagged our skin as erring on the side of dehydrated- yikes! Thankfully, we were then led to the sampling station where we could apply some of Simple’s iconic Repairing Rich Cream in a bid to improve moisture levels.

First impressions? This is considered a hero product for a reason. Not only is the moisturiser bolstered with Simple's patented Pro-Ceramide technology, organic cica, and provitamin B5 to nourish and aid suppleness, but the brand ambassadors assured us that it can penetrate the skin up to ten layers deep, working with the skin to naturally boost its own ceramide production. It’s impressive stuff.

It was then time to try the post application hydration test to see if there was improvement in the moisture levels within our skin. Excitingly, there was! The testing strip proved there was an instant increase in hydration.

Now that we had softer, more moisturised skin we popped to Boots to purchase our Simple Repairing Rich Cream - hydration continues at home, after all. We were also given a free gift - a Simple branded stainless-steel tumbler that’s as cool as it is handy.

But perhaps the most exciting part of the Simple pop-up is the chance to be part of their campaign. Partake in filming and watch your face pop-up on billboards across the shopping mall. And if you’ve missed the Westfield event? There’s no need to worry! You can still harness the hydration and learn about Simple’s Repairing Rich Cream at the upcoming roadshow dates below:

Rachael Martin, beauty editor says: ‘A bolstered skin barrier is at the heart of what Simple do, so it’s no wonder the Simple Repairing Rich Cream promises visibly healthier skin from the 1st use*and an increase in skin’s hydration by up to 96% **. The stats are impressive, yes, but how does it really feel? If you’re looking for a moisturiser that embodies nourishment and luxury (without that heavy, tacky feeling) this could be just the ticket. Not only does it sink in beautifully, but my skin looks instantly healthier and feels more soothed. I’ve been on a skin barrier boosting journey (after exfoliating too often in the past) and have found that the infusion of ceramides in Simple’s products have really worked to balance my complexion. A little goes a long way for impressively hydrated skin that lasts over 24 hours- there’s the fact it’s powered by 22% Ceramide Boosters to thank for that. Oh, and bonus points as it’s suitable for sensitive skin, PETA approved, dermatologically tested, non-comedogenic and free from harsh chemicals. An all-rounder.

Rachael Martin, beauty editor says: ‘I have combination skin prone to excess oil around the t-zone, so for days when I don’t want something quite as rich as the Repairing Rich Cream I’ll make a play for the Soothing Water Cream - it gives instant relief and intense hydration to dry areas while balances oilier sections. Made with 15% skin conditioners and organic aloe, it’s refreshing, calming and soothing, leaving my complexion feeling balanced and looking beautifully dewy. No wonder 86% agreed their skin felt instantly soothed, soft and smooth. Would recommend.

The Power of Simple - it’s not to be underestimated.
