Sienna Miller Beauty Secrets

Sienna Miller is one of the A-listers that we can always count on to provide serious hair, make-up, skincare and all-round beauty inspiration at every red carpet event she attends, whether IRL or virtually. From the moment the nation became obsessed with her Brigitte- Bardot-style look (long fringe, heavily lined yes, you know the drill) when she starred opposite Jude Law in Alfie, all eyes have been on Sienna Miller. Her everyday boho vibe saw the masses become obsessed with hipster belts, ripped jeans and smock tops and when, more recently, she had her long, wavy lengths chopped into a long bob we're betting hair appointments spiked country-wide. Needless to say that whenever there's a Sienna Miller beauty revelation mix we're immediately on the scent. Take this weekend for example. Sienna's go-to make-up artist Wendy Rowe posted a picture to her Instagram of Sienna Miller double-masking with rose gold eye patches and a serum-infused sheet mask, all whilst tucking into a box of fried rice. If that's not a lockdown mood we don't know what is.

Sienna Miller told The Telegraph, 'I like an intense facial massage; I think it's so important. I see the facialist Una Brennan, who operates out of her living-room in Notting Hill in London - I call it Una's Chambers. It's a pretty intense experience: she uses freezing ice masks that make you feel as if your brain is going to fall out of the top of your head. You look wonderful afterwards, though. Una got me on to SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic serum and now I use it every day.'

Incidentally we also spoke exclusively to Sienna's make-up artist, Wendy Rowe, and her hairstylist, Earl Simms, to get even more behind-the-scenes details of Sienna Miller's hair and beauty routines:

Sienna Miller's Make-Up Must-Haves

Grazia Daily: We love how sunkissed Sienna’s been looking, even in the winter! How do you give her a natural glow?

Wendy Rowe: 'Sienna’s body always tends to be a little darker than her face. I use Burberry’s Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base in Golden Radiance, £42.00, to pick the skin up a little. This also gives that golden honey colour which looks great on Sienna.'

GD: Sienna’s look is very unfussy – what little touches keep it polished for the red carpet?

WR: 'To keep the look polished it’s all about having an even complexion. Adding in a sheer glow before the foundation allow her natural highlights to come out too.'

GD: Do you use any products to sculpt Sienna's face?

WR: 'Sienna likes sculpting! To achieve this I use Burberry’s Light Glow Blush in Earthy, £29.00. Or sometimes, I’ll use a darker cream foundation like Bobbi Brown’s Foundation Stick in Almond, £28.00, to give a slightly warmer sculpt just below the apple of the cheeks.'

GD: How can we emulate Sienna's eye makeup looks at home?

WR: 'I regularly use the new Silk Eyeshadows from Burberry to create Sienna’s look. Try a taupe pink in the socket line and gold on the eyelids. It gives the illusion of depth and highlight, creating a modern nude eye. She also looks good with a stronger eyebrow and for this I use Burberry’s Effortless Eyebrow Definer, £22.50.'

GD: What is Sienna's favourite part of having her make-up applied by you?

WR: 'Sienna has great natural features, which makes my job easier! She loves the way I do her skin. She has also got lots of lashes naturally making them really easy to build on.'

Sienna Miller's Hair Must-Haves

GD: We were obsessed with Sienna’s bob! How did the chop come about?

Earl Simms: 'Sienna's bob came about because of a role in a film which required her to have shorter hair.'

GD: What products do you use to give Sienna's hair body and movement?

ES: 'The products that I use on Sienna's hair are a combination of the following - Clynol Moisture Dream Leave In Conditioner, £5.90, and my new favourite products by Windle & Moodie: Shine and Smoothing Oil, £21.00, Cream Sheen, £15.00, Invisible Day & Night Cream, £18.50, Matte Texture Spray, £20.00, and Light Satin Hairspray, £18.00.'

GD: What styling techniques do you use to get that full but tousled look on Sienna?

ES: 'The most important thing is to give the hair a great blow-dry to create body and movement and then I use a medium curling tong to give Sienna’s hair that tousled look. I don’t use the tongs in a uniform way, just in key places to give a more natural, unstructured feel.'

GD: How do you prep Sienna’s hair for big red carpet events?

ES: 'For big events I always start to prep Sienna's hair with a great blow dry. Then depending on what she might be wearing I use a combination of Windle & Moodie products, working them through the hair from roots to ends and then leave the hair to rest to allow the products to settle and be absorbed before styling.'

GD: Tell us something we couldn’t guess about Sienna’s hair.

ES: 'Sienna had an undercut when she got her bob cut. You would never have known this because she has an insane amount of great hair to work with. She is a hairstylist's dream!'
