Not content with just being a record breaking tennis star, activist, philanthropist and author, Serena Williams is adding another role to her jam-packed CV.
Following in the footsteps of Rihanna and Kylie Jenner, Serena Williams is set to launch her very own line of beauty products. The tennis pro has filed documents to trademark the name ‘Aneres’ (her name backwards) within the beauty category, TMZ reported. The extensive range is set to include skincare, makeup remover, colognes, perfumes, bath soaps, lipstick, lipgloss, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara.
Williams had previously trademarked the same name within the clothing category suggesting that the athlete may be working on a fashion and beauty empire.
Last week the female number one made her return to court after giving birth to her daughter in September 2017. She shared news of her comeback via Instagram detailing her new charity ‘S’ pins which fans can buy. Sales of the pins will support one of Williams’ charity projects, the Yetunde Price Resource Centre, an organisation which supports individuals and families affected by violence and trauma.
