Bioderma's Sensibio H2O Make-Up Removing Micellar Water, £10.80, earned its cult status even before it arrived on UK shores. The gentle make-up removing solution was long-cited as one of the most sought-after French pharmacy brands around, with magazines urging readers to make a grab for it as soon as they stepped foot on French soil. It first came to the UK back in 2013 and since then its hero micellar water as garnered legions of fans, and three of the most loyal reside in the Grazia beauty team. How much do we love Bioerma? Let us count the ways....

A Love Letter To Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water

'Ah Bioderma, where do I even begin? In the many skincare flings I’ve had in my time as a Beauty Director (read: trying new products on a daily basis) you are one thing that has remained constant for years. Unfussy, gentle, reliable – you’re everything I look for in a product and you make easy work of taking off every morsel of eye make-up - even when I’ve slapped it on thick – without ever leaving my sensitive skin irritated. I love that you come in mini form – the perfect size for travelling – and that I can bulk buy you in a discount duo when stockpiling in French pharmacies. You’re one of those products that if you were to be discontinued (don’t you DARE!) I would be truly bereft. Basically – you’re my type on paper, in person, and a forever mainstay.' Joely Walker, Beauty Director.

'There are only a handful of beauty products that are able to curb my promiscious ways and make me a monogomous devotee. You, Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water, are one such gem. You had me at the first swipe of a cotton pad. I used you daily from that day forwards, and even ended up travelling to France specifically to see how you came to be. It was a beauty pilgrimmage of sorts. You're kinder to my skin than tap water (no, really, there's hard proof to back me up on that one!) and remove even the most caked-on of liners, shadows, foundations, you name it, with ease. You're the standard, an icon, unfailing, and my skin would be considerably worse-off wihout you.' Annie Vischer, Beauty Editor.

'The first time I ever tried micellar water, it was you. I haven’t looked back since. Removing every last trace of make-up (even stubborn mascara) without the need to rinse, you’ve cut down my evening routine in half. Not only that, you’re unscented, gentle and never ever leave my skin feeling dry (which many face washes do). And since you, I’ve fallen hard for the Bioderma Shower Oil, £14.50, a luxurious, silky body cleanser which leaves limbs ultra-nourished – so much so, I can even forgo moisturising afterwards.' Emma Stoddart, Beauty Writer.

The Newcomer

Needless to say excitement ensued as soon as we heard tell of one of the latest Bioderma launches to hit the beauty shelves (digital and otherwise) this month.

Introducing the brand new Bioderma Pigmentbio H2O Brightening Micellar Water, £10.80. The new Pigmentbio range was created with those who suffer from hyperpigmentation (dark spots) and dull skin specifically. As well as removing make-up, this new micellar water offers a very gently exfoliation too, to tackle a build-up of pigment. Talk about a multi-tasker. We can't wait to get to grips with Bioderma's latest addition. Oh and the Pigmentbio range doesn't begin and end with the micellar water. Shop the range here...
