Ever dreamt about a time you could watch a plethora of rainbow coloured bath bombs drift in front of your eyes with your only worry being choosing the ones that catch your attention? Ok, this may be quite specific, but you never know what you need until you find it; and we definitely need this.
Lush is making our dream a reality, introducing Cosmetic Conveyor Belt systems into three of its largest stores- London Oxford Street, Liverpool and Birmingham. In varying sizes, the longest belt will be 14 metres and the shortest will be 3 metres. If that’s not enough to get excited about, the belt will play host to 106 Lush Christmas bath bombs. Launching in time for the festive season, it’s fair to say that Christmas has well and truly come early this year.
After openingits first ‘naked’ concept store at the start of the year in Manchester, this new style of conveyor belt shopping is also combatting plastic pollution in the cosmetic industry. Once you've picked the bath bombs that you want, you will then have the opportunity to have them perfectly bundled inside a Lush Knot Wrap - a reusable, more sustainable alternative to traditional wrapping paper, made from organic cotton or recycled bottles. Thanks to Lush’s eco-friendly approach, the brand saved 31.8 million litres of water last year and over 12,500 trees that helped to leave 400 acres of forest undisturbed.
Offering a completely plastic-free shopping experience, Lush is pushing sustainable practices and with the added fun of sushi-style shopping. What's not to love?
