A Very Natural Sensitive Skin Solution

A bout of early hayfever and my skin has reached new heights of sensitivity and irritability. What to do? Go natural, that's what. I've raided Neal's Yard for the most soothing, gentle and nourishing oils I can find - almond oil (£9.50) to repair my skins barrier and strenghten it every morning, rosemary oil (£9.20) to nourish and calm at night, and I've swapped my usual cleanser for the ultra hydrating Wild Rose Beauty Balm (£38.00). Try my favourite SOS tip by massaging the balm onto a damp face, leaving it on for 15 minutes, then steaming it off with a hot flannel. I promise your skin will look fresh, feel nourished and glow with health...

NARS NARS NARS

Today I'm on set with NARS and the talented makeup artist that is Andrew Gallimore. As you can see from this stash of goodies we're in for a playful and very colourful day. So far I've discovered two new favourite NARS products that I must share with you. One, the Matte Multiple in Altai (£29.00) - which acts as totally foolproof contouring, sculpting and tanning product. I also love to blend it over the eyes for a tea stained effect... how very 90s! Two, their Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (£19.00) is a must for anyone a little lipstick-shy or with thinner lips. Personally I find mine look a little harsh with bold colour but I feel very comfortable wearing this. See a sneaky preview of one of the looks Andrew created below...

Summer Proof Sunglasses

My choice of sunglasses is always based on the style but I have started to notice that a penchant for avaitors has left a significant amount of sun damage round the corners of my eyes. After speaking to various skin experts I've decided that this summer I'll be sticking to larger, plastic frames for beach and intense sun exposure (the frames in this picture are from Acne FYI) and wearing my original Chloe aviators on a day-to-day basis. A good way to find the perfect pair of protective sunglasses for you is to follow this simple rule: the frames must stick out further than the top of your cheekbone and sit as high as your eyebrow. Also remember to apply SPF around your eyes!
