Zadig & Voltaire have officially launched a new fragrance, ‘This Is Her’ for autumn/winter ’16.

A heady, floral scent which undoubtedly feels quintessentially Parisian, the fragrance is donned by the new face of the campaign, Josephine Le Tutour.

Given the perfume’s rebellious aura, the up-and-coming model is set to take the industry by storm. Grazia speaks exclusively to the rising star on her style, aspirations and the perks of modelling…

Who is the Zadig & Voltaire woman, and how has this been translated to fragrance?

She's very confident, young and she loves life, but she’s a bit rebellious too which bring in the rock ‘n’ roll side of the brand. The fragrance, This is Her, contains jasmine which is very feminine and this is mixed with a chestnut note which gives it an edge and brings in its ‘rock’ side to life.

What do you love about Zadig & Voltaire clothes?

The brand is very Parisian, stylish and gives you an edge, an attitude! I love jumpers and have spotted a cream distressed chunky knit in the autum/winter collection and can’t wait to get my hands on it.

What look do you think suits the new Zadig & Voltaire perfume?

I would say a rock look. Keep it clean with a rock edge, for example a white loose top with a leather trouser and natural make-up.

Tell us about shooting the campaign...

It was an intense three day shoot, but I loved it! We filmed during the day and at night and I did so many cool things, such as driving along the River Seine at 5am.

Do you like to wear makeup on your off days?

Not really. I'm not a big fan of wearing too much makeup to be honest. I like to keep it simple and usually just put on a bit of concealer (my favorite is from Clinique) and a flick of mascara. I do love a red lip when I’m going out though and love the Chanel lipsticks the best.

When you’re travelling what essentials do you pack to cover all bases?

I always take my Bioderma lotion with me and a Caudalie moisturiser, I like the Radiance Moisturiser.

Keeping fit is part of the job, what exercises do you swear by?

I don’t often exercise as I find that I naturally can keep in shape. However, I do enjoy Pilates as it great for your back and I often go cycling.

How often do you do them?

I aim for at least once a week, however depending on my schedule it can be more or less!

When you're travelling do you follow a regime in your bedroom or take any equipment with you?

Not really, I travel a lot with my job so often suffer from jet lag so I always keep some melatonin in my bag so I can sleep. I use Novanuit, It helps me to relax and magically forget I’m jet-lagged.

Who was your modelling inspiration growing up?

Believe it or not, I wasn’t actually into modelling, so I didn’t have much inspiration! Haha I was into sport, I used to play handball and basketball a lot when I was younger.

What is the best thing and worse thing about being a model...

The best thing is all of the travelling I do and the fact that my job is so varied by doing different things all the time. I went to the Death Valley once, I realise that I would never have got to go there if it hadn’t been for this job. The worst is never being able to plan anything, I never know where I’ll be or what I’ll be doing so trying to plan is impossible!

What goals have you set for your career?

I’d love to have a beauty contract, that’s probably my ultimate goal.

What are your top French skincare tips? Do you have any French brands you can't live without?

My top tip is to moisturise a lot. I love the brand Caudalie, they’re moisturisers are the best I’ve ever used and I use them day and night. They’re perfect for dry skin too.

What other beauty products can you not live without?

I genuinely love the new Zadig & Voltaire fragrance, This is Her, it’s a really feminine smell and I love the kick of chestnut in there.

The fragrances are now available online.
