This has been the year that we stared at our own faces on endless video calls. Some of us invested in skincare, some of us had epiphanies about self-acceptance, and almost all of us realised the psychological power of a good haircut. We want to know: what have you learned about yourself over the last six months? We want to hear your voices. We want your stories. We’re asking you to share your story on Instagram, and be in with a chance of being photographed for the cover of Grazia’s Beauty Issue in November.
HOW TO ENTER: Post a self-portrait to your Instagram grid with a caption explaining what beauty means to you in 2020. If you find it helpful, start your caption with: ‘What I see when I look in the mirror…’ You could also tag a friend whose story deserves to be heard too.

DEADLINE: Post by Monday 12 October 2020.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: For a chance to be photographed for the cover of Grazia, you must be able to travel to London on 24 October 2020 for a socially distanced photo shoot. Bauer is able to pay up to £50 for travel or subsistence expenses incurred. Images from the shoot will be used in the issue of Grazia on sale Tuesday 17 November 2020. The images will also be used on graziadaily.co.uk and across our social media channels on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook @GraziaUK.
The winners will be notified by 19 October 2020. The competition opens on Tuesday 29 September 2020 and closes on Monday 12 October 2020. Entries received before the start date or after the end date will be invalid. Participants must be 18 or over. The prize may not be substituted for cash or any other products. If Grazia is unable to contact the winner within 24 hours they reserve the right to offer the prize to another entrant.
The photoshoot will be socially distanced, and we will be adhering to the most up-to-date government guidelines in regards to the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 at the time of the shoot. Should government guidelines result in the postponement or cancellation of the photoshoot, Grazia will not be responsible for refunding any additional travel or subsistence costs incurred by the participant over the specified contribution of up to £50.
Participants are required to comply with current government guidance. If the attendance of the participant will contravene current government guidance, Grazia reserves the right to offer the prize to another entrant. Participants residing in areas under Tier 3 lockdown measures will not be permitted to participate.
