It’s been an exciting week for Glossier fans. Firstly, we had the genuinely game-changing news that the cult New York brand was finally shipping to the UK, and now they’ve gone and surprised us with an announcement confirming the launch of their very first fragance.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, the brand confirmed that their debut scent, dubbed Glossier You, will be available as a free sample with all purchases as of Friday. Yep, if you were looking for an excuse to stock up on their Milky Jelly Cleanser or a new flavour of Balm DotCom, this is it.
In line with their 'Skin first. Makeup second' philosophy, this scent is a subtle mix of powder and musk with a hint of fresh-cut iris. 'I want it to smell like your boyfriend’s neck after he has been wearing cologne for eight hours,' Emily Weiss told Vogue.

Excited fans took to Instagram to share their take on the new scent. 'It smells like how Boy Brow looks,' one user wrote while another called it 'the best perfume I've ever smelt.'
Details of the launch date and price are yet to revealed so you better stay glued to Instagram if you want the details.
And this isn't the only new product in Glossier's ever-expanding range to focus on scent. Earlier this year the brand teased fans with plans to make the first ever Glossier candle, so not only can you smell like Glossier but your home can too.
