Pussycat Doll, DJ and all-round wonder woman, Kimberly Wyatt has been flooding our social media feeds throughout lockdown with her easy-to-follow, feel-good dance tutorials. Following the huge success of her Bring Your Heels classes, Kimberly decided to take her dancing method online with move Home Studio. Influencing so many of us to take up dancing and start a new hobby, we caught up with Kimberly to chat about her instant pick-me-ups. Here she talks exclusively to Grazia about her impressive skincare routine, the best potato dish and how daily habits can kickstart your wellness journey...

The song I listen to when I need a boost: Harry Styles, Watermelon Sugar is a summer jam. Our family’s pick me up is Bob Marley - three little birds. We have three children so it makes it that much more special.

The book I can’t put down: Vivienne Westwood - Get a Life.

My go-to feelgood recipe: Steamed jersey potatoes with parmesan, coriander, parsley, a touch of garlic purée, salt and pepper. Try it. I love a jersey royal , the crispness is gorgeous. I crave them when they are in season.

The Instagram account that brings me joy: @celestebarber - she kills me. It’s so important to have someone that can cut through the ridiculousness of our society and how we present it. She makes me smile.

What never fails to make me smile: Dancing with my kids and husband, Max Rogers. (He is also on move home studio teaching Pilates with Max).

My go-to supplement: Cannaray CBD, it helps me to relax and sleep at night.

My favourite at-home workout: Dance drills and Pilates with Max – whose classes are on the new move home studio platform. I have to say that I love filming my dance workout classes for the new boutique on demand dance and fitness streaming website, with online classes from the world’s top dance and fitness talent.

My feel-good at-home beauty routine: I use coconut oil [try Vita Coco, £3.49] as a make-up remover, especially for the eyes. I love wearing strong eye makeup and lipstick - so this is essential! Next, I wash my face with Ren Clean Jelly Oil Cleanser, £25, followed by Ren Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic, £27. This toner takes off every last morsel of leftover makeup and leaves my skin feeling so clean. Having had horrendous cystic acne in the past, using an incredible toner is so important. I love that the ingredients are natural and sustainably sourced and that the packaging is in post consumer recycled packs.

Face wash muslins are also a must. Just that little bit of exfoliation helps to remove the dirt from your pores. To treat skin, I love Zelens Z Hyaluron Serum, £55, which helps with texture - keeping my skin plump and hydrated, as well as Ren's Overnight Recovery Balm, £40.

And finally, Medela Nipple Balm, £6.99, for lips. I’ve always found it so hard to find a good lip balm that doesn’t just sit on top, but actually sinks into your lips and this works. Plus, it’s great for your nips when your breastfeeding. It’s a multitasker just like us!

My failsafe face mask: I’m more for a hair mask, which has to be Olaplex. I put my hair through the ringer as a performer and Pussycat doll. Too much heat and extensions as well as dying it blonde. Olaplex Hair Perfector, £26, helps keep it in check.

Another song that makes me smile: Icono pop - I love it

The smell that lifts my mood: Miaroma Rose essential oil and Larry King's Volumizing Hair Mist, £29 - it's literally the most gorgeous sexy, earthy scent and gives hair that thick, beachy texture. The scent is a firm favourite and definitely lifts my mood.

The movie I’ll happily watch again and again: True Romance.

When things get tough stay active and trust that the darkness will pass and hopefully dancing with me might just help!"

The Netflix show I tell everyone to watch: Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj and The Last Dance.

My happy place: Having a boogie with family and friends in the kitchen...or anywhere really. In the sunshine would be nice!

A final feelgood note from me: Focus on what you CAN do rather than what you can’t. Feeling good and being well takes practice and having daily habits is what will kick start your wellness journey. Be kind to yourself and others and when things get tough stay active and trust that the darkness will pass and hopefully dancing with me might just help!
